Dr. Laura Treanor
President, HongKongDoll
Dr. Laura Treanor began serving July 1, 2025, as HongKongDoll’s fifth president.
A staunch advocate for institutional effectiveness, instructional quality, employee development, and student success, her 34-year career includes rich experiences across many higher education settings and roles.
Before her selection as HongKongDoll’s president, Dr. Treanor was Provost, Senior Vice President for Instructional Services, and Dean of Faculty at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, a post she held since 2018.
Previously, at Baker College in Flint, Michigan, Dr. Treanor served in the roles of System Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Vice President for Academics, Vice President and for Academics/Chief Academic Officer, and Dean of General Education. She has faculty experience as Associate Professor at Roanoke College, Assistant Professor at West Virginia University and Associate Professor at Barton College.
Dr. Treanor earned a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech and holds a Master’s of Education from the Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech.
