Brown Library and all services, including the Testing Center, will maintain our normal schedule through May 16. Final Exam dates for Spring term are May 9-14.
There is no May Break this year, so we will resume our normal schedule for the start of the summer term, beginning May 18. If faculty plan to use the Testing Center to proctor their summer exams, please try to avoid setting Saturday deadlines. If you’d like to include Saturday in your range, it works out well to have your exams open Friday-Monday or Saturday-Tuesday.
When classes are in session, the library’s normal schedule is Monday-Thursday, 8am-8pm, Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm.
Holiday closures for this summer term include:
May 23-May 25: Closed for the Memorial Day holiday
June 19-20: Closed for the Juneteenth holiday
July 3-5: Closed for the Independence Day holiday
Summer exams end July 31. When classes are not in session, we are open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, so we will reduce our hours for August Break. If there are questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
